Imperialite, also known as EE-12 (Extraterrestrial Element 12), Starroid, and Conquestium, is an incredibly strong and versatile metal seen and used throughout known space.

Description[]

Raw Imperialite is a rather abundant dull grey metal, usually jagged in its raw form, found deep within planets. Forms of Refined Imperialite tend to be smoother, and lighter in color. Imperialite is often distrubted in the form of rectangular ingots.

Capabilities[]

Imperialite, in its raw form, is able to absorb and conduct several types of energy, even supernatural ones, and has high durability. However, if it absorbs too much, it will violently combust. Raw Imperialite holds amounts of anti-supernatural properties, naturally imbued in it by its chemical makeup and its position in the formation of planets, which is why it is almost never found on worlds in thick areas of the Weave. Imperialite can be refined into even stronger and more stable alloys for use in assets, and can also be used to create Neopulse, a volatile form of Anti-Celestial Energy. Refined alloys, such as CA-2, are non-magnetic, and made to repel rather than absorb. Electric attacks and energy attacks may completely arc off, or be otherwise dispersed or absorbed. Even supernatural attacks, such as magic, will be dispersed or absorbed. Refined Imperialite is near-impervious to physical attacks, only able to be significantly damaged or breached by immense amounts of force, more than most species or weaponry can deal. However, modern energy weapons still have a reliable capability to breach Imperialite armor, even with its resistances. Most forms of refined Imperialite does not rust or naturally decay, although spells and some forms of energy can cause it to do so. Other forms of Imperialite, especially raw Imperialite, take millenniums to rust or decay. Imperialite armor can often block teleportation, phasing, and other forms of spells and abilities, such as psionics, especially when charged with Anti-Magic. When made into an exosuit, especially a helmet, Imperialite can block or heavily dampen telepathy, mind control, or other similar abilities. Due to Imperialite's anti-phase property, the Military Multi-Phase Suit was a true breakthrough.

Usage[]

The most common form of Refined Imperialite is the CA-2 alloy, commonly seen on Military armor. Composites of this alloy, such as CC-5 and HCC-67, make up the hulls of battleships and structures. CA-2 is often used for civilian purposes as well, and is capable of being generated at mass scale from highly advanced cyberformers, albeit with a massive charging time. However, the most common civilian alloy is the A-1. Composites and alloys, often backed up with nanotechnology and other forms of tech, are often impervious to nanites, able to disperse some amounts of Anti-Matter, and be near-impervious to molecular deconstructors or other unconventional types of weaponry. Imperialite armor backed with Anti-Celestial or Anti-Magic technology is often used against supernatural entities. Vehicles, structures, exosuits, weaponry, cybernetics, and other robotics are often constructed with Imperialite, although mostly Military products.
